Winds in the region are strong and the temperature is generally mild with little variation. Precipitation is heavy, and the sky is continually overcast.

Around town you'll hear the following legends:
  • In days gone by, the villagers of Ironers thrived. Things were peaceful, but one day S'hoorzin se S'hooral the cyclops destroyed a nearby village. The villagers tried to kill S'hoorzin se S'hooral, but didn't get close. Along came Daves Goodan the half-dwarf, who was an expert bowman. Daves had an idea to slay the cyclops by killing the cyclops while he slept. When Daves Goodan faced the cyclops, Daves Goodan banished S'hoorzin se S'hooral and rescued the hostages.
  • Legends tell of Trunk's Harp, a unique harp with the knack to grant wishes. It was last seen years ago.
  • Long, long ago in a city far, far away, the constable of Cooperstein lived happily. Things were peaceful, but one day an evil lich named Khalal heh Yerzor slayed a local hero. The constable tried to stop the lich, but didn't get close. Along came Elaelliyn Ousseaseeker the drow, who was a skilled storyteller. Elaelliyn had the thought to slay the lich by causing a distraction while others struck. When Elaelliyn Ousseaseeker faced the lich, Elaelliyn Ousseaseeker banished Khalal heh Yerzor and was killed in the process.
  • Some time ago, the constable of East Kensdew thrived. Things were peaceful, but one day a murderer named Fax took a hostage and demanded a ransom. The constable tried to stop the murderer, but failed miserably. Along came a hero named Hruula Stonekos, who was a sneaky thief. Hruula had the thought to slay the murderer by using magic to banish it. When Hruula Stonekos faced the murderer, Hruula Stonekos defeated Fax and was killed in the process.
