The townsfolk tried to stop the lich, but failed miserably. Along came Throrun Uglyforge the dwarf, who was an expert bowman. Throrun had the thought to slay the lich by causing a distraction while others struck. When Throrun Uglyforge faced the lich, Throrun Uglyforge killed the lich and was killed in the process.
