Indar has a Temperate Deciduous Forest climate, which is characterized by warm and wet summers with mild and dry winters, and has spring, summer, fall and winter seasons. Winds in the region are breezy and the temperature is generally chilly with little variation. Precipitation is minor, and the sky is clear.

Indar sees a single star overhead: Sik, a supermassive orange star. Indar also has a single moon: Himaka, a massive bone white moon. In the night sky, you see two celestial objects: a massive nebula that has been around for generations and an imposing nearby planet that has been around for decades.

Indar is governed through a totalitarian government, where the government subordinates individuals by controlling all political and economic matters, as well as the attitudes, values, and beliefs. The government as a whole is seen as ruthlessly effective. Officials in Indar are often seen as resolute and the policies are loved. The political influence of Indar in the region is dwindling rapidly due to a thwarted assassination attempt. In times of crisis, the population overcomes their differences.

Indar is ruled by Chairman Rushug Mokripper. The Chairman has been in power far longer than should be allowed and is praised by the people. There is open opposition to the Chairman and policies. The right to rule was granted by constitution, and that power is maintained by unwavering supporters.

Laws are enforced by a city watch, but are loosely enforced. Justice is served by a kangaroo court, with a common punishment being maiming.
