Grafridge has a Tropical Seasonal Forest climate, which is characterized by constant high temperatures and seasonal torrential rains, and has hot, rainy and cool seasons. Winds in the region are mild and the temperature is generally warm with strong variation. Precipitation is moderate, and the sky is mostly cloudy.

Grafridge sees a binary star overhead: Lucol, a small yellow star and Sij, an average blue star. Grafridge also has a single moon: Elaledus, a small rusty red moon. In the night sky, you see two celestial objects: a massive asteroid belt that has been around for decades and a massive black hole that has been around for all eternity.

Visitors are greeted with a flimsy conglomerate stone palisade that is 9 meters tall. The city wall protects the core 100% of the city, with 5 towers spread along the 2.93 kilometer wall.

Grafridge is governed through a parliamentary government, where members are nominated to their positions by a parliament and can be dissolved by the parliament if it can no longer function. The government as a whole is seen as shrewd. Officials in Grafridge are often seen as disreputable and the policies are hated. The political influence of Grafridge in the region is spreading due to riots in the region. In times of crisis, the population overcomes their differences.

Grafridge is ruled by President Mickic Stoley. The President has been in power for years and is feared by the people. There is hostile opposition to the President and policies. The right to rule was granted by force, and that power is maintained through a fair and just legal system.

Laws are enforced by a local thugs, but are loosely enforced. Justice is served by mob rule, with a common punishment being indentured servitude.

Around town you'll hear the following legends:
  • Long, long ago in a city far, far away, the royals of New Guttendar lived in peace. Things were always nice, but one day Rot the murderer took a hostage and demanded a ransom. The royals tried to kill Rot, but failed miserably. Along came a hero named Turnas Clawcaller, who was a skilled storyteller. Turnas had the thought to slay the murderer by causing a distraction while others struck. When Turnas Clawcaller faced the murderer, Turnas Clawcaller killed the murderer and was killed in the process.
  • Legends tell of Ghatgah's Beans, a unique beans with the knack to speak for itself. It was stolen from a locked vault.
  • Long ago, a hag frequented the streets during a red moon. Commoners say that the hag will ask a favor of you, then eat you.
  • In the olden days, the royals of Upper Edgetle lived in peace. Things were good, but one day a monster named Khalssen heh Khalssen took over the town. The royals tried to stop the monster, but didn't get close. Along came a lycanthrope named Joes Castnson, who was an expert bowman. Joes had the thought to slay the monster by using magic to banish it. When Joes Castnson faced the monster, Joes Castnson defeated Khalssen heh Khalssen and was killed in the process.
  • Legends tell of Jamry's Apple, a possessed apple with the ability to dominate others. It has been lost for ages.
