The townsfolk tried to kill Xainer Bloodsoult, but didn't get close. Along came a hero named Amaine Hometoe, who was a valiant knight. Amaine had a plan to trick the devil by using magic to banish it. When Amaine Hometoe faced the devil, Amaine Hometoe banished Xainer Bloodsoult and rescued Hinsholt.
