The villagers tried to kill Blurbub Neckripper, but didn't get close. Along came a cowed half-elf named Filtssa Goldears, who was a sneaky thief. Filtssa had an idea to slay the murderer by using magic to banish it. When Filtssa Goldears faced the murderer, Filtssa Goldears banished Blurbub Neckripper.
