Hawber has a Temperate Deciduous Forest climate, which is characterized by warm and wet summers with mild and dry winters, and has prevernal, spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter seasons. Winds in the region are breezy and the temperature is generally cool with minor variation. Precipitation is moderate, and the sky is continually overcast.

Around town you'll hear the following legends:
  • Once upon a time, an old woman haunted the woods on gloomy days. People say that the old woman will ask a favor of you, then give you a gift if you are nice.
  • Long, long ago, a serial killer named Surplak haunted the woods and was drawn towards those that wronged others. Villagers say that if you touch her, you will be stricken blind.
  • A long time ago, an old woman stalked the countryside. Some say that the old woman will ask for your help, then sell you into slavery.
  • In times gone by, the royals of Banbridge lived in harmony. Things were good, but one day an evil monster named Merrr stole a priceless heirloom. The royals tried to stop the monster, but didn't get close. Along came a hero named Faevaraen Bladewater, who was a skilled storyteller. Faevaraen had the thought to slay the monster by making a wager with Merrr. When Faevaraen Bladewater faced the monster, Faevaraen Bladewater defeated Merrr.
