Landbar has a Moist Continental climate, which is characterized by warm to cool summers and cold winters with severe snow storms, and has spring, summer, fall and winter seasons. Winds in the region are strong and the temperature is generally freezing with moderate variation. Precipitation is strong, and the sky is clear.

Landbar sees a binary star overhead: Luj, an average white star and Sil, a large yellow star. Landbar also has a single moon: Elalepe, a large pale yellow moon. In the night sky, you see two celestial objects: a massive nearby planet that has been around for centuries and a massive black hole that has been around for only a few years.

Visitors are greeted with a recently repaired oak fortification that is 5 meters tall. The city wall protects the core 100% of the city, with 5 towers spread along the 2.43 kilometer wall.

Landbar is governed through a theocracy, where a deity is recognized as the supreme civil ruler, but the deity's laws are interpreted by ecclesiastical authorities. The government as a whole is seen as efficient. Officials in Landbar are often seen as decent and the policies are revered. The political influence of Landbar in the region is steady due to racial tensions. In times of crisis, the population comes together and fights as one.

Landbar is ruled by Bishop Filttel Melithhelm. The Bishop has been in power for several decades and is loved by the people. There is no visible opposition to the Bishop and policies. The right to rule was granted by election, and that power is maintained through spying and assassination.

Laws are enforced by a racketeers, but are loosely enforced. Justice is served without trial, with a common punishment being indentured servitude.

  • In the olden days, a witch roamed the town and was drawn towards thieves. Some say that the witch will sneeze three times, then steal your soul.
  • Years ago, an old woman stalked the streets every six years. Commoners say that the old woman will ask a favor of you, then turn you into a mouse.
  • Some time ago, a spirit named Haride roamed the region during the summer solstice and was drawn towards acts of greed. Folks say that if you face him, you will be stricken deaf.
  • Long, long ago in a city far, far away, the royals of Stardun lived in harmony. Things were always nice, but one day a spirit named Helaal Stormcaller slayed a local hero. The royals tried to kill Helaal Stormcaller, but failed miserably. Along came a elf named Abahiassa Rootdew, who was a sneaky thief. Abahiassa had an idea to slay the spirit by making a wager with Helaal Stormcaller. When Abahiassa Rootdew faced the spirit, Abahiassa Rootdew tricked Helaal Stormcaller and rescued Stardun.
  • Legends tell of Jot's Cat, a special cat with the ability to dominate others. It was stolen from a locked vault.
