The government as a whole is seen as incapable of even simple tasks. Officials in Limrard are often seen as principled and the policies are despised. The political influence of Limrard in the region is shrinking due to food shortages in the region. In times of crisis, the population squabbles amongst themselves.

  • Long, long ago, the constable of LeHubbford thrived. Things were quiet, but one day S'herssen teh Gheal the lich took a hostage and demanded a ransom. The constable tried to kill S'herssen teh Gheal, but didn't get close. Along came a hero named Shotzorg Necknor, who was an expert bowman. Shotzorg had the thought to slay the lich by making a wager with S'herssen teh Gheal. When Shotzorg Necknor faced the lich, Shotzorg Necknor banished S'herssen teh Gheal and was killed in the process.
  • Legends tell of Mub's Brooch, a legendary brooch with the knack to dominate others. It mysteriously disappeared.
  • Legends tell of Danes' Hat, a magical hat with the knack to make people cry. It has been lost for ages.
