Durkari has a Tropical Seasonal Forest climate, which is characterized by constant high temperatures and seasonal torrential rains, and has hot, rainy and cool seasons. Winds in the region are mild and the temperature is generally warm with minor variation. Precipitation is moderate, and the sky is partly cloudy.

The political influence of Durkari in the region is declining due to a thwarted assassination attempt. In times of crisis, the population rallies behind its leaders.
