Farldew has a Tropical Seasonal Forest climate, which is characterized by constant high temperatures and seasonal torrential rains, and has hot, rainy and cool seasons. Winds in the region are non-existent and the temperature is generally warm with little variation. Precipitation is strong, and the sky is mostly cloudy.

Visitors are greeted with a crumbling basalt fortification that is 10 meters tall. The city wall protects the core 100% of the city, with 5 towers spread along the 2.34 kilometer wall.

Farldew is governed through a dictatorship, where the ruler or small clique wield absolute power (not restricted by a constitution or laws). The government as a whole is seen as efficient. Officials in Farldew are often seen as corrupt and nefarious and the policies are mocked. The political influence of Farldew in the region is negligible due to riots in the region. In times of crisis, the population comes together and fights as one.

Farldew is ruled by Sovereign Rugub Greathand. The Sovereign has been in power for several years and is despised by the people. There is strong opposition to the Sovereign and policies. The right to rule was granted by revolution, and that power is maintained through spying and assassination.

  • In times past, the constable of Labman thrived. Things were peaceful, but one day Zat the wizard stole a priceless heirloom. The constable tried to stop the wizard, but were caught. Along came a melancholy ogre named Guap Bearnut, who was a valiant knight. Guap had an idea to slay the wizard by killing the wizard while he slept. When Guap Bearnut faced the wizard, Guap Bearnut banished Zat and rescued the hostages.
